Digital Content Marketing Director

Description:

The Digital Content Marketing Manager/Director is responsible for identifying opportunities for programming, original and acquired, on the Francombat.tv platform, developing strategies to launch these opportunities, and implementing corresponding marketing initiatives to promote these programming offers. This role also contributes to concept, development, execution and post-campaign analysis of marketing campaigns that support the distribution and monetization of LEI TAI content and programming, including, but not limited to Pay-Per-View, FIGHT PASS, FRANCOMBAT.TV marketing, These promotional initiatives may be in the form of promotable programming campaigns, launches of new content packages, consumer and incentives, and co-promotions between Pay-Per-View, FIGHT PASS, and other UFC stakeholders such as Sponsors, UFC Fit, Gyms, UFC Magazine, the CRM/Loyalty team and others as necessary. The position will identify definable opportunities and cohort target groups that are measurable, of sufficient scale, and actionable with promotional offers and campaigns.

Responsibilities:

 

  1. Develops the strategic promotional plan for UFC FIGHT PASS.
  2. Identifies new and innovative methods of packaging and promoting UFC content, services and products to the target demographic including but not limited to: traditional media, online/interactive, retail partnerships.
  3. Coordinates the development of campaign creative assets, including web creative and promotional videos, with the appropriate internal departments to be delivered in accordance with planned promotional windows.
  4. Works closely with outside affiliated promotions to acquire necessary creative element to promote non-UFC events on FIGHT PASS to subscibers and potential subscribers.
  5. Manages media buying agency relationships and activities including online, traditional, OOH, etc.
  6. Develops and implements strategies for all media campaigns related to UFC.TV PPC and FIGHT PASS as part of the Marketing team.
  7. Follows up on incoming advertising inquiries and leads.
  8. Develops and manages initiatives to track advertising effectiveness, both locally and nationally with Finance department.
  9. Creates PowerPoint presentations in conjunction with Global Brand Creative department, which lay out promotional opportunities that the Manager, Pay-Per-View Marketing can use to engage affiliates in upcoming promotional initiatives.
  10. Performs other tasks, projects, and assigned.

 

Qualifications:

 

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in television marketing and/or consumer marketing in a digital or new media environment.
  3. Experience in marketing content on non-trational television delivery platforms, such as Over-The-Top, Gaming Platforms, and IPTV is a plus.
  4. General knowledge of principles of effective communications and mass media, publicity, advertising, policies, community relations, and organization structure as they relate to entertainment and sports events.
  5. Ability and willingness to travel, approximately 50%.
  6. Ability to plan, organize, and effectively present ideas and concepts to groups including members of the senior management team.

Software Development Engineer

A strong understanding of social media platforms is a must, as well as the skills to create html based creative campaigns in third party social content management systems for Facebook and Twitter. This role is ideal for someone who has a creative vision and hands on art experience, an understanding of popular music culture and great communication skills to lead a team though the lifecycle of a social marketing campaign.

 

Accountabilities:

The department’s success will be measured against the growth and engagement metrics on social platforms. Your success will be measured by how creative and innovative your ideas are, and how well they deliver recurring engagement and viewership to the network.

Duties:

  1. Develop social media strategies and integrated marketing campaigns that benefit the Francombat brand as well as artist partners
  2. Implement and maintain comprehensive social media strategies that will increase brand visibility and traffic across all social platforms, this includes content development, community engagement and management
  3. Understand target audiences for each of our concerts, identify their behavior and create engaging campaigns that drive viewership and social loyalty
  4. Day-to-day management on Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Tumblr, Google +, Instagram, Pinterest and other platforms where we have presence
  5. Develop and maintain a social media promotional calendar that builds awareness and engagement of key broadcast events
  6. Create the assets needed to market our events across all social platforms
  7. Analyze data from social platforms to identify effective techniques and develop KPIs for future campaigns
  8. Collaborate with on air promotions dept. to create promotional spots for all social campaigns
  9. Work closely with other team members to curate conversations around the AXS TV brand and reward ambassadors during key LIVE events
  10. Curate and publish real time social messaging on air during LIVE events
  11. Assist in the creation of digital advertising to support key campaigns

Requirements:

 

  1. Must be a creative thinker who continuously crafts innovative ideas to reach target audiences across music and pop culture events
  2. In-depth knowledge of social media platforms including cms tools. i.e. Offerpop, Buddy Media, Hootsuite, TweetDeck, etc..
  3. Must have Photoshop and basic HTML/CSS experience. Final Cut, Adobe Premiere a plus but not necessary.
  4. Strong project management, team leadership and decision-making skills.
  5. A strong communicator, both written and verbal.
  6. Experience with media planning. Agency experience a plus.
  7. Must live, eat and breathe music and social marketing!

Francombat’s Internship Program is non-paying, and offered to students who are currently enrolled in college full-time and who can receive college credit. Internships run year-round on a semester-to-semester basis (Fall, Spring and Summer).

Vice President, Business Development, Structured Tax Solutions

 

Role Summary

Vice President, Business Development, Structured Tax Solutions will help lead our efforts in Canada to execute sales plans for growing our Structured Tax Solutions relationships.  Activities will include: developing new accounts and leading presentation teams to the acquisition of new clients; attending relevant outside conferences, and developing referral relationships through strategic providers and partners including law firms and accounting firms. The successful candidate will continue to support efforts that raise the firm’s profile in the high net worth, family office and corporate marketplace through interaction with, industry groups, clients and prospects. 

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the individual in this position include:

  • Develop sales methods and presentations for prospect audiences.
  • Develop relationships with Charitable Endowments, Foundations, Family Offices and Wealth Managers and corporate entities.
  • Implement prospect strategies for the philanthropic needs of high net worth individuals, corporations and foundations
  • Foster referral relationships with law firms and accounting firms
  • Communicate Sprott’s Tax Solutions offerings to prospects with various levels of financial sophistication.

Skills

The successful candidate will have extensive demonstrable skills and experiences including the following:

  • Chartered Accountant designation required
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in a tax advisory group at a major accounting firm
  • In depth knowledge of Canadian corporate and personal tax law
  • Strong prospecting, lead generation and relationship management skills.
  • A high-energy level with the ability to influence and lead.
  • Ability to work self-directed and also be a contributing team member.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation and skills required
  • Strong business judgment, resource management, business development and negotiation skills.
